Market Overview

Advancing innovation with specialized expertise.

The science and defense industries require structures and equipment to support their groundbreaking research. These sophisticated and one-of-a-kind projects require a detailed engineering approach to achieve the desired precision and performance. SGH’s multidisciplinary engineering teams apply advanced analysis techniques and structural engineering capabilities with our experience in testing and materials science to design and evaluate unique and specialized structures, including:

  • Research and defense facilities, including government- and military-owned assets subject to specific load applications and hazardous environments
  • Structures, such as telescopes and antennas that require highly precise designs and the structures that support or house them
  • Prototypes for new structures or structures subject to new loads or uses
