Michael J. Louis published an article titled, “Unitized Curtain Walls and Their Limitations,” in the January/February issue of Glass Magazine.  In the article, Mike discusses a few common limitations and problems that are encountered with the use of unitized curtain walls and presents design considerations for addressing such problems.  The limitations addressed are alignment, end dam reliability and weathertightness, and thermal bridging at stack details.
